One person has died and two firefighters have been hospitalized after a deadly explosion at a home in Owasso.

The Owasso Fire Department said they responded to a house fire just after 6 p.m. Thursday to a home near 76th Street north and Highway 169.

Officials said firefighters were trying to save two people inside when an explosion occurred.

One victim inside the home died, and two firefighters were taken to a Tulsa hospital, officials said.

The investigation is ongoing.
