Officials with the Tulsa County Jail say that the man accused of aiding David Ware attempted to kill himself.

According to a detention facility incident report, Officer Chidikowu Ochonogor found Matt Nicholas Hall on the floor of his cell with a sheet tied around his neck and called for a medical team. Officers and nurses responded and treated Hall until he was breathing on his own. The report says Hall was taken to a hospital by EMSA for continued evaluation.

Police say Hall helped David Ware who is himself accused of shooting two Tulsa Police officers on June 29. Hall is being held without bond and is charged with accessory to a felony and accessory to first-degree murder.
