A man on a motorcycle led troopers on a chase early Wednesday morning, The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.

The chase started around 1 a.m. when troopers noticed him speeding on I-244, according to OHP.

Troopers said they tried to stop him, but he got off the highway and crashed in a residential neighborhood.

The suspect was then arrested at the scene of the crash, OHP said. He will be booked into jail after being checked out at the hospital, OHP said.

The suspect has not been identified at this time.
