This month’s Connecting the Community with Mattress Firm Tulsa is The Pencil Box! The mission of The Pencil Box is to prepare and empower our children and give hope for a brighter future by offering new or gently used school supplies and educational tools necessary for successful learning!
The Pencil Box serves students from economically disadvantaged households attending public schools across Tulsa County. Throughout the school year, teachers are invited to shop and choose what their classrooms actually need. For every $1 donated, The Pencil Box stretches it into about $5 in school supplies!
Your financial donations keep the store stocked so students can arrive prepared to learn and our teachers don’t have to fill the gap out of their own pockets.
