Families in Tulsa took advantage of the nice weather and skated at the Arvest Winterfest ice rink just outside the BOK Center on Sunday.

The event has had to close for rain a few days this season, but the sun was shining as people packed the rink to skate.

"It's such a beautiful day, we wanted to come out here and see my daughter and her friend ice skate, and just enjoy a perfect day in December," said Monica Stine.

You can check out the ice rink and the 50-foot tall LED Christmas tree every day until Jan. 2nd.
